There was a consensus by the priests and the elders to put Jesus to death . He was then handed over to Pilate.
Pilate wanted to set Jesus free but he however gave in to the demands of the multitude. The journey to the cross and how He conquered death began .
Mark 16
The women went to the tomb to anoint the corpse of Jesus Christ .They saw a young man,an angel of the Lord who said, "He has risen!".
Jesus later appeared to the eleven disciples and commanded them to go to all the world and preach the gospel.
