Summary
Ex 26—God gives very detailed instructions on the layout of the Tabernacle, listing each item that was to be included, the type of linen and colors of the curtains, the length and width, how it was to be displayed in each section. He left nothing to the speculation of man. They were to follow the instructions according to the plans shown on the mountain.

Ex 27: Continues with the structure of the Tabernacle and what was to be included in the layout.  An altar for burnt offerings were made of acacia wood and utensils of bronze.  The plans also included a courtyard

Ex 28:  Aaron and his sons are called to serve as priests.  Special garments were made for them which included a breastpiece, an ephod, robe, a woven tunic and a sash. The names of the children of Israel were engraved on two stones, six on each according to birth order, and placed on the breastpiece for making decisions.  This would serve as a memorial to the Lord as Aaron entered the Holy Place.
