The Irish kicker booted the game winning field goal versus Florida State to lift Notre Dame to a 41-38 overtime win. Doerer reflects on the moment and his time on the team, that has included ups and downs. He speaks out coming back for an extra year thanks to the Covid rule and what it means for him to be a student at Notre Dame. Doerer has a strong Catholic faith and he says it has only grown by being on Notre Dame's campus.
