Rachel Lopez on the Concept of Gravity in International Law

In this episode, Rachel E. Lopez, Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Andy and Gwen Stern Community Lawyering Clinic at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, discusses her article "The Law of Gravity," which will be published in the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Lopez begins by describing the role of the concept of "gravity" in international law. She observes that it has always been a central concept, and reflects on how its role has changed over time.
