Caroline Mala Corbin on Prohibiting Propaganda

In this episode, Caroline Mala Corbin, Professor of Law & Dean's Distinguished Scholar at the University of Miami School of Law, discusses her article "Trump's Lies: The Unconstitutionality of Government Propaganda," which will be published in the Ohio State Law Journal. Corbin argues that the First Amendment should limit government speech, specifically propagandistic government speech. She provides a definition of the kinds of propaganda that can and should be prohibited, and explains why such a prohibition is consistent with First Amendment values.
