Brian L. Frye was a panelist, and presented a talk titled, "The Trouble With Conceptual Art." He argued, inter alia, that museums should consider whether the purchase and sale of conceptual art violates the securities laws. He also realized a work of conceptual art titled "Awkward Silence," which comprises a presenter including an unannounced period of silence of indefinite duration.
