He gives his thoughts on the best Triton to ever run at the college and shares his thoughts on the careers of Adva Cohen and Biya Simbassa. The conversation turns to a past Triton runner, Maddie Bach, and her up-and-down time in Fort Dodge. Dee details the impact of the late Denny Myers on the Triton program and the recruiting pitch he made to the national champion coach from Rend Lake. Dee calls the three-year postseason ban the program suffered "ridiculous" and goes into detail all of the infractions. He shares his conflicted emotions after region and state rival Iowa Western won a national championship in track and field. He also details many of the sightseeing adventures he has introduced to his team over the years and his favorite title of all.
