67-year old retired Santa Fe Librarian Elvira Segura’s car is found abandoned in a pecan orchard 300 miles South of her home in Las Cruces, NM. After a police welfare check turns up her badly decomposed body, the hunt is on for her now missing live-in handyman, Robert Mondrian-Powell. In what initially seemed an open and shut case, complications quickly arose in one of New Mexico’s most bizarre and controversial murder cases.
