We get into the some of the history of attraction, why it is still appealing to guests 50 plus years later, and the first attempt at a live action adaptation with the 2003 Eddie Murphy led film. We talk about what the film gets right and (mostly) gets wrong, and how best to translate a ride to film. Then we briefly talk about what we can hope for in the recently released 2023 film.
