This week we have a full board as Dan is joined by Adam (Liverpool) Luke (Manchester United) Joe (Arsenal) & Ace (Juventus) as we all break down the two Semi-Final matches which set up the Championship Matchup of Liverpool vs. Real Madrid for the UCL Final.
Liverpool were tested early as Villarreal came back to tie it at 2-2, but in the second half Jurgen Klopp's men take over the game, and never looked back, booking themselves into the UCL Final. They were waiting the outcome of Manchester City vs. Real Madrid, as City took a 4-3 Aggregate lead into Madrid. In one of the most shocking outcomes, Manchester City blew a 1-0 lead (which gave them a 5-3 Aggregate lead) as Real Madrid scored in the 90th & 91st minute to put the game into Extra Time. Karim Benzema drew, then ultimately scored, a PK so give Real Madrid the 6-5 Aggregate win, as Pep bottles another UCL Bid with Manchester City. Why can't City get in done on Europe's biggest stage? We have a HUGE month of Football coming up, especially for Liverpool, who have to play 4 Premier League Matches (as they try to takeover Manchester City atop the EPL table) as well as The FA Cup Final vs. Chelsea on May 14th, then the UCL Final on May 28th. Will it be 3 more Trophies for Liverpool, as well as the first Quadruple in English Football History? It could very well happen...Good thing Klopp signed an extension.
