Trigger Warning/Content Warning for the first part of this episode: harassment, predatory behavior, sexual assault

In the past few weeks, many in the comics and gaming industries have spoken up about the abuse and harassment they have received from prominent figures in these industries. Among those accused of predatory behavior are creators of Spider-Gwen's first series, Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez. We believe and stand with the victims and everyone else speaking up about the abuse they've endured. In this episode, we discuss the systemic problems of sexism, misogyny, and predatory behavior in the comics industry, and how the comics industry must work to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for creators and fans. We discuss how these toxic issues played into the making of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), and how this movie failed Gwen Stacy in particular so horribly.
