Kari lives in Garner, NC where her husband, Danny, and 3 precious children (Titus-14, Eliana-13, and Leala-11), enjoy fire pits, family game nights, long evening walks, hosting social events, and exploring the creek and woods together behind their home.
Kari loves most being identified as a worshiper. As a momma, community leader, and gifted prophetic teacher and speaker, the topics she is most passionate about include finding our identity in Christ, belonging, Father God's heart, freedom from shame/fear/control, rich friendships and community, and parenting! She shares her dynamic teaching gift with power and urgency.
Kari, along with her husband Danny, co-founded Oak City Academy, a PK-High School Classical Christian Montessori school, now in its 10th year. Kari serves as the CVO (Chief Visionary Officer) of Oak City Academy (OCA), which serves almost 200 students and focuses on scholar-shipping students up to 90 percent of tuition who are from under-resourced communities. OCA is exploding in enrollment and is thrilled to be breaking ground for a permanent location and opening the Triangle's first and only Entrepreneur High School this Fall.
