On this Labor Day I share thoughts on the role of the business owner in creating a culture of empowered growth.  Over the last few years corporate America has been on a crusade that isn't aligned with the beliefs of the majority of Americans. Are you actually hurting your corporate culture by imposing these beliefs on your organization? I know one fortune 500 company (and I can imagine there are many I am not aware of) having significant retention issues, engagement issues and a culture where employees like each other but feel like they are not in alignment with corporate leadership.
