Neil explains how before 5G advancements, the core of the network ran on special-purpose hardware. And this hardware was uniquely built, not general purpose. Due to advances in virtualization and advances in containers, the core of the network can now be virtualized and run on high performance, general-purpose hardware from Supermicro, using the latest Intel technology, throughout the network, from the edge to data center, and the edge to cloud.
