"Any day above ground is a good day"

We all like to imagine our own happily ever after but in reality, significant challenges can occur in anyone's life. It's how we deal with challenges that matters.

At 19, Johanne Brennan married into what turned out to be a notorious Caribbean crime family and a manipulative, abusive relationship. After 17 major surgeries and numerous attempts at reconciliation, Johanne returned to Canada in 2005, fighting for child custody and regaining control of her life.

In this episode of Inspiring Leaders, Johanne relates some of the strategies and tactics that helped her get through unimaginable trauma and challenges to help others who may also encounter trauma. In her new book "How To Thaw Your Frozen Feet" she helps people find acceptance, self-love and find your authentic self and potential

We dedicate this episode to everyone who has, or is, going through trauma to remind you that there is hope and a deep well of resilience and resolve within all of us. Join us on this journey today.
