Sacramento’s Experimental Homeless Encampment
CalMatters Homelessness Reporter Marisa Kendall provides an update on Camp Resolution in the city of Sacramento, a completely self-governed, city-sanctioned homeless encampment that was supposed to be a model Sacramento could copy for future sites. That didn’t happen, and now it’s under threat of prosecution by the Sacramento County District Attorney’s office.

Unsolved Mystery of the Yuba County Five
In 1978, five Yuba County men - Bill Sterling, Jack Huett, Ted Weiher, Jack Madruga, and Gary Mathias - went to see a basketball game in Chico, and were never seen alive again. Their disappearance remains a cold case to this day. The mystery is captured in a new book, Things Aren’t Right: The Disappearance of the Yuba County Five by author Tony Wright. He joins Insight to talk about how he worked to capture in-depth details about the disappearance and its investigation for the first time.
