I WORK ON a small university campus in County Tipperary and have major concerns about the Clonmel Sports Hub. I walked around the new amenity with Councillor Michael Murphy in order to point out specific areas worth consideration.

My son Dylan (12) feels stressed by the roaming gangs of teens that he sees jumping on the zip line and crawling along the top of the Sports Hub buildings. He met up with Tipperary County Councillor Michael Murphy to share his concerns.

During Councillor Murphy's discussion with university staff on the TUS-Clonmel campus, it emerged that a Memorandum of Understanding might be the best plan to ensure this €5 million amenity is handed over to a team that will be able to ensure its safe-keeping.
