Richard Barone curated a multi-artist concert titled MUSIC & REVOLUTION - GREENWICH VILLAGE IN THE 60’s at Outpost in the Burbs. For this episode Richard speaks with the Outpost’s John Hammond and Cindy Stagoff about the concert, his recent album SORROWS & PROMISES, his wide range of other activities. We met with Richard on Pete Seeger’s 100th Birthday, which was a great day to discuss the importance of the folk and songwriter tradition that’s passed along down the generations and he’s still moving forward.   Featuring “When I’m Gone” from the Sorrows & Promises album: https://www.shiptoshoremedia.com/store/albums/sorrows-and-promises-greenwich-village-in-the-1960s - and an impromptu snippet of the Bongos’ “Bulrushes” - seen here with some fantastic original live video of the band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcgILoeOXKg.   The Pete Seeger song Richard mentions is "God’s Counting on Me, God’s Counting on You (Sloop Mix)" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-KCrIN1JGM
