Our special guest, documentary filmmaker Ginger Gentile, joins us to chat all about how she got started in the industry and why she chose the documentary route as a filmmaker, how she approaches her subjects in her films, and the strategies she uses to get them to open up about uncomfortable situations. We then dive deep into her two documentaries; "Erasing Family", which follows young adults fighting to reunite with their broken families, and reveals through the eyes of 23-year-old Ashlynn, 12-year-old Lauren and 28-year-old Brian, the consequences on mental health caused by profiteering high-conflict divorce court settlements. "Exclusion U" which looks at the real scandal in higher education: How Ivy League Universities hoard billions while refusing to expand enrollments.
