UFC Fight Night 197 brought the fans another stacked card from top to bottom. Max Holloway took on a savage Yair Rodriguez who returned from a two year USADA suspension. Herb Dean had another hesitant stoppage, Felicia Spencer put on a clinic, Khaos Williams knocked out Miguel Baeza, and Song Ya Dong and Joel Alvarez got phenomenal TKO stoppages as well!
Cris Cyborg gets another huge first round KO win this weekend. With Kayla Harrison floating around as a free agent, there is a lot of chatter about getting her to Bellator and set up the potential super-fight in the near future.
There have been rumors of 2 fights in the works. Leon Edwards finally gets his title shot! The fight against Kamaru Usman is in the works and is rumored to take place around March/April of 2022. Gilbert Burns has agreed to take on Khamzat Chimaev. Chimaev has had a super-star rise in the UFC and this will be by far his toughest test to date. Chimaev was hoping to fight in Dec but this fight is rumored to go down in January.
