As the Utah debates start back up today, Boyd walks through what we should all be looking for so we can be informed voters. We should all listen past the soundbites and see how much these candidates actually know about an issue. If someone can speak past their talking points and be specific in the policies and processes, we can have a better indication of who these people are. We want political courage from our representatives but we rarely ask them questions that invoke that virtue. Looking towards this debate, we should be literate in seeing past the noise and ask more from those trying to represent us.
