PS5 sales outpacing the Series X

The Series X and the PS5 sales analysts don’t have a ton of concrete data yet but that’s not going to stop them from trying their damndest to estimate just how many units each next gen console has sold.

Surprisingly, the Nintendo Switch is still selling gangbusters and despite the launch of the PS5 and the Series X it still came in second place in the UK during the month of November. Now, it should be noted that there’s a major lack of supply of the new consoles and we should take all the napkin math with a grain of salt - but if these estimations and early sales data are any indication of what’s to come, the PS5 will have a significant sales lead over the new Xbox’s for at least the next year or so.

Only time will tell if Sony will have a repeat of the last hardware generation with the PS4 more than doubling sales of the Xbox One but either way we’re gonna have fun talking about it on today’s edition of Inside Gaming Daily!
