CoD bows to China, censors trailer

The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War trailer has been pulled down and replaced with an alternate version in what seems like an act of self censorship to appease China’s governing authority. The trailer in question had a brief clip of the Tiananmen Square protests and as a result was banned in China by Chinese authorities. As a result every officvial version of the trailer online, including the US version, was replaced with a new version sans the Chinese protest footage. This is the second time Activision has kowtowed to China in such a large public manner and it probably won’t be the last.
