Hi everyone, we are back with another episode of our fascinating podcast allowing you to get to know people working behind the scenes of the crypto industry. Today we catch up with a very special guest, Torab. He is the Head of Partnerships at Marinade Finance.

Welcome to the fifty-third episode of the Inside Crypto Podcast. This episode was recorded on April 13th 2022. You’ve all heard of Marinade from our SOLI podcast well today we have them on the show. We talk about community governance, NFTs, and why it’s never too late to get into crypto.

Before we get started, I would like to thank my employer Amun Tokens for making podcasts like this happen. Please don’t forget to check us out and our products at tokens.amun.com.

Thanks everyone for listening and don’t forget to tune in next week where we interview someone else in the cryptocurrency universe.

Topics Covered Today:

So Torab, a lot of people in the Amun community are aware of Marinade because it’s the first thing I talk about whenever I do our Solana news segment. But for those who are new, do you want to give us a quick take on what Marinade is?

One of the first things that people will notice when heading to the site is the art and the colors. Why did you go with this aesthetic?

Everyone knows Lido on Ethereum, is the goal of Marinade to become the next “Lido”?

I messaged a few community members over the weekend to ask for their questions. One of the biggest questions I got was what to do with their mSOL… Do you have any suggestions or maybe a place to gather that information?

I love that you have the Marinade DAO. How can people get involved?

Looking into your Discord, you seem very community centric. Is there a reason for that? You’ve run a lot of events and it’s only April 2022. How do you think you can get the community more involved?

One of the biggest things to happen recently is of course the launch of your NFTs. You’ve gone in an interesting direction there. Why did you decide to launch NFTs? Do you also want to explain to people how to get them?

In your most recent March update, you mentioned one of the most recent challenges is decentralization. Why is that so important? Where do you hope to go in 2022?
