Hi everyone, we are back with another episode of our fascinating podcast allowing you to get to know people working behind the scenes of the crypto industry. Today we catch up with a very unique guest, DefiKai. He is the creator of the deficryptovaults newsletter and website. The best place to get the latest crypto vault news.

Welcome to the fifty-ninth episode of the Inside Crypto Podcast. This episode was recorded on May 1st 2022.  Today we talk about bribe wars, Curve and the stable coin wars. These and many more questions on today’s show.

I also would like to thank my employer Amun Tokens for making podcasts like this happen. Please don’t forget to check us out and our products at tokens.amun.com.

Thanks everyone for listening and don’t forget to tune in next week where we interview someone else in the cryptocurrency universe.

Topics Covered Today:

So DefiKai, one of the first things you wanted to talk about was gauge voting or bribe wars. What does that entail? I’ve heard about bribing in crypto with regards to Curve but not about gauge  voting…

The second thing you wanted to talk about was Curve/Convex, in what context?

I love how you’ve phrased our third topic of the day. Stable coin wars. Are there wars going on. As a crypto normie. I know Tether is number 1 by far on binance, that being said I know USDC keeps raking in the funding. We also just interviewed UXD protocol which aims to become the number 1 stable coin on Solana. What’s your take here?

Lots of things have been going on in the FTM ecosystem. With the departure of Andre Cronje, the price hasn’t been great. Social sentiment also hasn’t been there. What do you see happening?

Solana seems to be doing well. That being said, in my personal experience, there are still network issues. Those are probably growing pains but looking at the ecosystem, they are still behind ETH in terms of TVL

We’ve got to talk about vaults of course since you put out your newsletter which is so well organized. Why do you think what you are doing is so important and is drawing people in?

Do you expect the newsletter to remain the same or do you want to add more information in the future?

What is the best way for people to utilize the information you send out each week?
