Episode 113 is the fourth part of our miniseries, 'The Beauty Of The World'. The Beauty Of The World hosts globally-renowned key opinion leaders to discuss their own regions beauty standards, aesthetic trends and the injectable market in their part of the world. We'll try to better understand what people find attractive, what influences this and celebrate the similarities and amazing differences between our faces and skin tones.

In this episode we're joined by Dr Andre Braz, a globally-renowned dermatologist, injector and cosmetic educator. Dr Braz is a leading KOL for numerous aesthetic brands including Allergan, Galderma, Merz, Teoxane and SkinCeuticals. ⠀

We explore the beauty ideals of Brazil, world-famous for it's glamour and aesthetic confidence. But what's less commonly appreciated is that Brazil is also the world's most mixed race nation. So we go on a deep dive to understand what 500 years of fusing of cultures and races looks like.

We discuss how injectors might approach multi-racial patients and get to the heart of one the core themes of the Beauty Of The World mini series - should we put less emphasis on race when we treat our patients and more people's cultural and environmental identity?
