A year ago to the day of our recording, Dr Patel was diagnosed with COVID-19. The aftermath of this and his recovery led him on a personal journey to re-discover his health and wellness but also something even bigger. We ultimately pose some deeper questions about cosmetic medicine including: Have we only scratched the surface of our patients potential? Can wellness and aesthetics be combined into a new speciality known as lifestyle medicine?
