Snoop Dogg's hit single, 'Murder was the Case', eerily echoed the events that would eventually lead to him being on trial for first degree murder. Running with Tupac and the rest of his crew, Snoop was easily branded as a gangster, and a pimp.  
 
Now, he's the king of reinvention. He's obviously still the same Snoop Doggy Dogg we knew in the 90s, but without the dangerous lifestyle that could have potentially kept him in prison for life.
