Meet Dan Tarbutton:

Dan Tarbutton is the Sr. Vice President of Community Management and Service at the Irvine Company

Dan comes from a military background. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps, Where he flew helicopters… but not just any helicopter… Dan flew Marine One. for presidents Bush and Obama

While serving his country he earned numerous distinctions:

Meritorious Service Medal

Bronze Star

Air Medal

Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal

Joint Commanders Commendation from the British Army

And many many more...

One of his last posts before leaving for the private sector was Executive Officer of the Basic School in Quantico where he oversaw the new officer training school, leadership ethics, and military skills.

He also served as Director, Aviation Operations Support at Camp Pendleton here in California.

Dan obtained his MBA from University of Southern California. That lead him to 5 years ago when he joined the Irvine Company as the VP of Strategic Initiatives. He has since become Sr. Vice President of Community Management and Service

He is known for his leadership, his ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, executive level management, strategic planning, operational planning and execution as well as the guy who has a values card in his pocket at all times.

One of those initiatives was spearheading a company culture initiative that has moved the values of the company from a nice plaque on the wall to an active part of daily life and business.
