IEE is the hit comedy panel show podcast from award-losing comedian Sam Wilkinson. Each episode guarantees a wealth of British comedy talent handing out at least one fact, one lesson and mulitple moments of hilarity. It’s ideal for fans, and detractors, of the BBC in general and Radio 4 in particular. Imagine if Radio 4 commissioned any old nonsense and didn’t mind about the swears and you’re on the right track. Or NPR if you're American, I suppose.

She once ran a comedy night in the before times and will destroy everything you thought you knew about nursery rhymes. Her ...

December 19, 2022 08:00 - 56 minutes - 38.7 MB

It's Christmaaaaaaaaaaas!   Another year over, and IEE's Christmas special arrives in traditional self-indulgent garb. Who told a story which would absolutely have got them fired if it hadn't been edited out? And who still...

December 14, 2022 08:00 - 56 minutes - 38.8 MB

November 19th is International Men's Day! And if this podcast had come out on time it would have been perfectly timed to mark this occasion with IEE's first and last ever ALL-MALE lineup. IEE is in need of a man. A manly man! A manly man's man! Sadly, all we could find were Silky, Chris Booker and Saul Henry instead. But who got too giddy and needed editing out? Who adopted the role of a character we were all uncomfortable to share a room with? And who has no respect whatsoever for the ide...

October 03, 2022 07:00 - 1 hour - 47.1 MB

IEE is completely science-ignorant, and only one of the three finest minds of our generation will be able to fix that. Emma Crossland, Alex Beighton and John Morris between them have more degrees, test tubes and weird powders in jars than you can shake a stick at. But whose father is heavily involved in the sea? Who manages to swing a very dubious definition of sandwich? And who was accidentally given a really rough deal in their play title, leading to this episode having a gentle, but real...

July 04, 2022 07:00 - 48 minutes - 33.2 MB

IEE's youth programming has long been neglected, which is why Becky Heaviside, Kerry Robinson and Jack Vincent have been invited to interview for the role of children's TV presenter. With an average of 2/3rds of a child between them, surely one of these three is suited to fostering the next generation's keen young minds? But who is absolutely correct about the worst Playbus stop? Who is determined to rudeify their child-friendly play title? And what will Jingletron's interruption be this mo...
