Alex talks about doing martial arts as a kid, how it really helped his discipline and focus into adulthood while learning multiple styles.  He also describes his epiphany discovering Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which he is currently a Brown Belt in, and how it has empowered him in all aspects of life.

Other topics included how martial arts influence who you are as a person and how it can enrich your life off the mat.  Alex talks about how connected he is to his martial arts path and what it means to him.  He also discusses a very introspective view into finding yourself and learning how to embrace humility and continue to always be a student.

Plus we play a fun acronym game "Cops" or "Dungeons and Dragons" in which I name an acronym and Alex had to choose which category it fell into. lol

Alex is a wonderful human being with some great life perspective and experiences that a lot of people will be able to identify with and learn from.
