THE CONVO
For a lot of Jews, the Holocaust seems to be the defining aspect of peoples Jewishness. In today’s episode, I am joined by three Jews, each living in different generations. Through their stories, relationships, beliefs, etc, I hope to explore the role the Holocaust plays in one’s Jewish identity and how (if at all) this has changed throughout generations of American Jews. After my conversations, it is clear to me that despite the temporally distant nature of the Holocaust, the event is still very relevant to many Jewish Americans.
