BERT KREISCHER is a comedian, writer, actor, and television host. Known as the "Top Partier" at Florida State, his life - and the subsequent Rolling Stone article written about his college days - was the inspiration for the film National Lampoon's Van Wilder. Bert went on to become a successful comedian and television host, serving as co-cost of "The X Show" on FX, and the star of his own FX series "Hurt Bert". In 2008 he appeared on the Comedy Central reality show "Reality Bites Back", and in 2009 Comedy Central aired his hour-long stand-up comedy special "Comfortably Dumb." He starred in the well-reviewed Travel Channel series "Bert the Conqueror" in which he travels across the U.S. to experience and promote roller coasters, water rides, and unusual sports. He's appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, and his book "Life of the Party: Stories of a Perpetual Man Child" was published in May 2014. His weekly podcast "Bertcast" is available on the "All Things Comedy" network.
