This is a longer than usual episode with the esteemed Richard Beasley, SC, author of the fantastic book, Dead in the Water,  about the Murray-Darling Basin Plan arising from the Bret Walker SC Royal Commission into the same. Richard talks with me about how the MDBP went so wrong and how we can fix it.

This is an issue that affects Indi greatly, given most of our agriculture is in the MDB and our entire northern border is the Murray-Darling. The gradual degradation and death of this mighty river system will massively impact our future and the future of our agriculture, our towns and our very lives.

The interview was conducted via Zoom with a very busy Richard in his home, so my apologies for the background noises and email notifications.

If you're interested in Richard's book, you can buy it through Beechworth Books and any other good bookstore.

As always, if you want to get in touch you can find me on Facebook and Instagram, or by email at [email protected]
