Too many times we get stuck in limbo.  Either by analysis-paralysis or just plain fear, we hold ourselves back and don’t take that leap that is going to propel us into the next phase of our lives.

I’ve done it. You’ve done it.  Everyone’s done it at some point.

Most of the time, we have enough to go off of or our fears are not as justified as we think they are.  What’s the fix for this wall in front of you?  Let’s find out…

Points

Negative self-talk derails us before we even try.
Other people telling you that it won’t work – haters.
Stat perseverant. Give yourself a time- or period-based goal. Evaluate after that point.
Get a couple of successes under your belt. That gives you a MASSIVE confidence boost.
Don’t just quit your day job and jump in with both feet, if you have a choice.
Each step is forward momentum.
Step from wanting to being committed.
Be OK with making goals, even if you can’t meet them.
Find a way to be accountable to someone.
Don’t be afraid to reevaluate past failures.  They may be something that’s worth another shot with a different approach.
