Welcome to In the Wake with Whytli! I am a certified life coach and a mental health advocate. I am also a survivor of sexual and mental abuse. The phrase 'in the wake' means the ‘result of something occurring’ and I originally started this podcast as a result of my story and everything I have overcome. I continuously choose to rise up from the trenches and speak up about these various taboo and stigmatized topics. I choose empowerment, growth, and empathy. As I continue on my healing and self growth journey, I will use my voice to share my truth and insights along with amplifying the voices and stories of others. I interview guests whose messages have resonated with and inspired me. Tune in for weekly episodes on all things mental health, survivorship, and self help!!
