Sometimes we have to travel in order to get something glorious...

We may not be in Austin, Texas but a little bit of SXSW is coming to you as we are now fresh on the heels of the world premiere of 'The Spine of Night'

This film is an Ultra-violent, epic fantasy set in a land of magic follows heroes from a different eras and cultures battling against a malevolent force.

It doesn't get much more gloriously old school then this film as it's bathed in blood, nudity and fantasy that was pulled straight out of the 1980's. We got the distinct pleasure to sit down with writer/director's Phillip Gelatt and Morgan Galen King to talk about the film, how using rotoscope animation was the way to go and consciously crafting some genuine midnight movie going madness that we can hopefully experience one day on the big screen again...
