Big things happen in the world off the moment of the tiniest of jestures...

On this episode we talk with Director Jason Polevoi and Subject Jahmal Cole about their new documentary 'A Tiny Ripple of Hope' which is having it's world premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival from Feb. 12th through the 25th.

It follows a year in the life of Jahmal and the work he does with his organization "My Block, My Hood, My City" in raising up the young people and the community through community engagement and encouraging the teenagers of the neighborhood to better in anyway that they can. However, what most people didn't realize is that Jahmal was funding the organization through a mortgage on his house as his desire to help his community almost left him homeless.

It's a really interesting story and when we talk with Jason and Jahmal we uncover the inspiration for the film and so very much more...
