In this week’s episode, Correspondent Venice Buhain talks with Ambassador Wendy R. Sherman about her book Not for the Faint of Heart: Lessons in Courage, Power, and Persistence. Sherman brings listeners inside the negotiating room to show how to put diplomatic values to work in their own lives. With personal experiences, from her own life—from growing up in civil-rights-era Baltimore, to stints as a social worker, campaign manager, and business owner, to advising multiple presidents—she shares how she has relied on values like authenticity, acceptance of change, and commitment to the team. Join Wendy and Venice as they take us inside the world of international diplomacy—and stay in the know about what’s going on in this moment at Town Hall Seattle.
