Hour 2: The Marketplace of Ideas

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we heard so many conversations designed to equip us to be the salt and light we are supposed to be.  We started with a conversation with a man who is renowned for his work in the civil rights movement.  He challenged us to be a part of the Joseph Fund, a movement designed to raise up leaders in the toughest parts of our nation.  We heard from the authors of a post-modern version of John Bunyan’s classic, Pilgrim’s Progress, who use wit and satire to cause people to think critically.  Childhood sexual abuse is taking place at underheard levels, as we learned from an advocate for prevention and protection for those harmed by human trafficking.  God’s plan for marital sexuality requires integrity.  We learned from a gifted counselor on how to really grasp the concept of a covenant relationship.  Fridays are big days on the program.  Get ready to think biblically and critically as our husband-and-wife team takes a look at the headlines through the lens of Scripture.
