During this first episode of this new series we talk with Team Captain and 3x NFR Bareback Qualifier Leighton Berry as he explains the Team’s charity efforts for this year. Fellow bareback rider and co-founder of the Trenten Montero Foundation, Mason Clements joins Leighton to reminisce about the legacy of Trenten and talk about the mission of the Trenten Montero Foundation. Tune into today’s episode and go to agtrucktraderprorodeo.com/charity for more information and to cast your vote for the organization you want to see supported.   Trenten Montero Foundation is a foundation that was set up to benefit rodeo families that have been faced with career threatening or ending injuries, and has left the families without a form of income or a paycheck to feed their families. Through rodeo we all make so many sacrifices as well as our families, and this foundation was created from the loss of the life of Trenten Montero. He was a young husband to Maria, and father to newly born Noah, and with the tragic loss of his life from a rodeo accident, they were left to support themselves. The foundation wants to provide these families, as well as cowboys/cowgirls who have or will experience injuries in this industry to have financial support if or when it comes to those terms anytime in their rodeo careers. Leighton chose this charity foundation because he was a good friend of Trentens’ and the rodeo community always bands together through the good and bad times. Leighton wanted to be able to help support, grow, and give all that he could with his resources to help this foundation succeed. It was Leightons pursuit to help get the organization started with so many willing people within the community that were able to help put this foundation together and get it on the road to leaving a legacy behind from the tragedy of Trenten’s accident, to provide triumphs and a future for others in the sport of rodeo. Mason Clements, fellow bareback riding professional rodeo cowboy, is also a huge part of the Trenten Montero Foundation, and is doing all that he can to grow and support this foundation. Trenten always had a smile on his face, and his perspective in and out of the arena was something that impacted us all, says Mason, and for that I want to do my part in helping to leave a legacy behind for Trenten’s Family, and the Foundation!  As
