His path began in 1998 as a Security Forces Officer in the United States Air Force, where he honed his skills as a high-security Phoenix Raven. Throughout his time there, he gained invaluable expertise in areas such as Law Enforcement, Global Force Protection, Anti-Terrorism, Nuclear Security, Foreign Air Field Assessments, and Air Base Ground Defense.

Continuing his pursuit of service, Michael joined the Walnut Creek Police Department, where he embraced a multitude of roles. From being a dedicated Patrol Officer to becoming a trusted Driver Training Instructor, Field Training Officer, SIU Detective, Undercover CA DOJ Narcotic Task Force Agent, Public Information Officer, and ultimately a respected Patrol Sergeant. With each role, he brought his unwavering dedication to the community.
