On In The Game Podcast this week our guest Munawar Shah talks about Al-Shams Women FC , a club that began in  2016 in the highly mountainous region known as the 'Valley of the Mountaineers' in the North of Pakistan. A team consisting mainly of young women between the ages of 12 and 24 who would otherwise be left behind due to the lack of opportunities and resources in the area. An ambitious and inspiring team who, in 2019, trekked for four hours through the mountainous terrain to play a 'highest altitude, gender-equality' football match.
