Welcome to In the Field Audio Bible. I am your host, Christie Richardson. 

I invite you to immerse yourself in the bible in a new way - simply by listening. Whether you follow along in your personal bible, listen to the audio bible while commuting, or take a moment for yourself, listening to the bible one chapter at a time allows you to have a moment with God that you may not otherwise have given yourself. 

The New International Reader’s Version, or the NIRV, provides the listener with a more conversational translation, making the text easily understood by everyday persons like you and me. This translation is also valuable to students whose native language is other than English, complementing their English language studies. In the end, this audio bible is a podcast that also provides bible studies helping you, the listener, continue the conversation. Prayer requests are accepted and kept confidential, as they are prayed over daily.
