Since I began the In Search of America podcast I have been producing it on the fly, and by the seat of my pants, because I was anxious to bring you - the listener, the stories that I felt were so compelling. Because of this, however, I was not diligent in learning the technology behind the production of a podcast. It is only through the production, of those that I have recorded thus far, that I gained valuable insights into this - as well as the formats.
I have decided to take a hiatus, for 4-6 weeks, to implement the newly purchased equipment, and most importantly, to become proficient in its operation. I have also been looking at changing the format somewhat - including more interviews so that the perspectives are more authentic.
