Kids are not putty to be molded into your image. Instead, kids are subject to learning through what we teach them and show them. Junior year, is the year kids focus on college acceptance letters, stressing about essays and scholarship letters about who they are and what makes them different from the rest. When we help them focus on this image of themselves early on, it makes this creative storytelling process easier and more authentic. That is what S4 Ep16 with Kate Stone is about, how as mothers we can fill in the blanks where school education fails to teach.

Kate is a seasoned College Admissions Consultant and College Essay Coach. She received her education from NYU and previously served as a Princeton University teaching fellow in Asia. Kate transformed her passion for creative writing and storytelling into actionable strategies for the college admissions process, essays, and application.
