It's incredibly important to start being intentional with the way you communicate with your child(ren). When you are more reactive than proactive - when you react through emotion, not thinking about what you're saying or doing - you wind up yelling at your kid(s). There's a whole second-guessing process going on, with your child(ren) growing up to hate themselves. Listen up if you want to begin to understand yourself and, in turn, understand the psychology of what is going on for your child(ren).

Meet Celia:

Celia Kibler is a Best-Selling Author, a Family Empowerment Coach, and the Founder of Pumped Up Parenting and Funfit® Family Fitness. She is on a mission to stop 1,000,000 parents from yelling at their kids. Her book about this subject is titled Raising Happy Toddlers: How to Build Great Parenting Skills and Stop Yelling at Your Kids. Celia believes that the more parents understand their children and, more importantly, themselves, the better they can communicate and relate while building trust and respect within a nurturing, fun environment. Her reason is simple... because we are raising adults, not children.
