How Not to Lead a Sales Call

Start with them. Ask what they want to get from the conversation. This will give you an opportunity to frame the conversation. Address their goal instead of jumping straight into a canned pitch. Always come from a place of care and service.Avoid talking too much: focus instead on probing questions.Stay on time! If you’re going over, let them know and ask if they have a few more minutes.If you did not close the sale, take the opportunity to ask what you could have done better! So many people miss an opportunity to grow in this area.
