DR. ADAM M. CARRINGTON: “Songs for the Struggle: The Psalms' Political Teaching for Embattled Christians." Dr. Carrington is a dynamic, favorite professor of Hillsdale College. Setting the course for conversation, he presented several psalms in light of Christians' embattled position in contemporary society. He did do so from a political angle, showing how these Psalms state what we should expect from politics, both its possibilities and limits, and the encouragement they give to those discouraged by society's present state. He focused on Psalms 9-12 and 82.  This was our second in our series of eye-opening, invigorating evenings where we seek to more fully understand what it will take to revive One Nation Under God.
