Did you know that Rankin-Bass made stop motion animation movies that WEREN’T all Christmas-themed? I didn’t! But today’s returning guest Caumera (@Caumera on IG) introduced me to an absolutely delightful movie from 1967!


In Mad Monster Party? the famed Dr. Frankenstein is retiring and decides to throw one last bash with all his monster friends. And at the bash he will hand over the reign of the Worldwide Organization of Monsters and his ENTIRE legacy to a successor!


And then Dr. Frankenstein pulls a clickbait and says, “Watch till the end to see the successor. The answer will surprise you!” Wow Doc. That’s a real evil move!
